All of which is a choice.

All the blaming in the world doesn't move the personal responsibility of the individual.

Glad to hear you choose to make better choices

Yes, Warren, we have power, but most people are oblivious to it most of the time. That's why so many people eat the processed food laden with substances toxic to their bodies because they don't read the labels and haven't taken the time to research. Then, when their bodies become dysfunctional, they rely on a medical system designed to manage symptoms, not help them truly heal. I have separated myself from the still silent majority, and I'd like to wake them up! Actually, I plan to do so in various ways.

as individuals, we have always had the ultimate power.. our attention and minds are always our own... and the more "they" exert control, the more we resist it.

But watch out.. the those skilled in the art of persuasion know that good persuasion does not look like persuasion

Is this a "friendly" Big Brother that is watching? Hmmm. I think that everyone should start stretching the boundaries of who they are -- go check out all kinds of aspects of life you've never seen but been curious about and do it online. Make "them" uncertain as to who you REALLY ARE, because then they can't control you. Listen to that new song from Muse (forgot the name), the one that says "They can't control us".

Psychographic data collection sounds like a great idea for marketers, until the marketer in question becomes a controlling influence in our lives...

Ruth
